Procedure
It is open Rhinoplasty method that surgeon will cut Culumella, which is located under the nose. Moreover, it is not only to reconstruct the nose bridge, but it can also reshape cartilage at the nose tip to be smaller and it will be done together with Septoplasty. Material to be used for this method is cartilage from patients’ body such as auricular or rib cartilage. Also, nasal can be reshaped and nose base can be pointy reconstructed. If patients have too wide nose base, it can be reconstructed by inserting Gore-Tex or silicone at the nose bridge which is safer from piercing through in the future.
Nose reconstructing with Gore-Tex is different from silicone. It will be more harmoniously attached with tissue than silicone and it is also not resisted by body.

Preoperative
STOP smoking two weeks before surgery. You will need another two weeks after surgery to start smoking. Smoking increases the risks of complications.

Recovery
You may have dressings inside each nostril at first, which will prevent you from breathing through your nose. We'll take these out before you go home. You might also have splint over your to help support it; you'll need to keep this is in place for around a week.
